On May 4th, 2026, we participated in cleaning the National Arboretum in Washington D.C. During our services, the volunteers and their families helped the workers at the National Arboretum to help take care of the Korean hillsides.

Twice a year, we aid the workers by maintaining the beauty of the Korean Hillside through cleaning the dead leaves, branches and pulled weeds. The volunteers work together to preserve the liveliness of the Asian collection section through cleaning litter and pruning.

After we finish cleaning up, we have a meal together with the workers eating a traditional Korean lunch box, coming together and enjoying each others company. As our work comes to an end we finish our volunteering by thanking the workers for giving us an opportunity to understand the value of preserving the Korean culture and community.
