Kimbap Making Event

In March 22, 2025, KHFSS hosted "Korean Culture: Kimbap & Games" event in Centreville Library. Throughout the event, participants could learn how to make Kimbap, and experience several Korean traditional games including "Jegichagi", "Tuho" and "Gonnggi".

During the event, participants were free to start at any station they preferred, whether it was a game or the kimbap-making activity. At the kimbap station, they could choose their own ingredients and customize their kimbap to their liking. This flexibility helped attract more attendees by removing any pressure or hesitation about trying unfamiliar foods. Throughout the event, KHFSS members helped participants by explaining the rules of traditional games and guiding them through each steps of kimbap making. This event served as a great opportunity for both KHFSS members and participants to deepen their understandings about Korean culture.
