On November 29th, 2024, members of KHFSS were given the rare opportunity to take a tour of one of the most important buildings regarding U.S foreign policy, the Department of State in Washington D.C. They learned about its many diplomatic operations, such as assisting citizens abroad, supporting American businesses internationally, or representing the country in treaty signings of global importance through the help of their tour guide.

Not only did they learn about the Department's historical and continued importance to the nation, but they were given the opportunity to dine in their luxurious self-serve cafeteria, admire displays throughout the hallways, and simulate a diplomatic meeting in the conference room. We at KHFSS are truly grateful for this accommodating and educational experience, and highly recommend booking for a visit to the building yourself.
